GLYCINE – Is a major promoter of muscle growth and muscle development it increases glucose uptake ensuring that carbohydrates ingested during training aid in the replenishment of muscle glycogen stores thereby assisting in the maintenance of energy and strength levels throughout the workout. Glycine is also used as an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the Central Nervous System.
L-GLUTAMINE - Is a powerful anti-catabolic amino acid and is useful in preventing the breakdown of lean muscle mass. It also possesses cell volumizing properties and can increase muscle fullness and hardness.
BCAAs - Comprised of the amino acids Leucine, Valine, Isoleucine. BCAAs possess anti-catabolic and muscle glycogen sparing properties. Leucine has exhibited powerful anabolic properties and is useful in increasing protein synthesis. Studies have shown that ingesting amino acids pre-training promotes a greater anabolic effect than ingesting them post training.
ALANINE – is used by the body to draw upon blood sugar and is useful for hard training athletes attempting to maximize muscle glycogen to fuel their work out. Alanine also transports nitrogen from various sites in the body to the liver.
MALIC – CITRIC ACID – are involved in the Krebs cycle also known as the citric acid cycle. This cycle is essential for the production of energy. Malic and citric acid's involvement in the Krebs cycle means it plays they play an important role in improving overall muscle performance, reversing muscle fatigue following exercise, reducing tiredness and poor energy levels, as well as improving mental clarity.
